Trekking around the lake

Get an experience walking among natural trails made by the Mayan people and that have been used for generations as a means of communication and trade from one town to another.

The walk begins at the pier of the town of Santa Cruz by the shore of the lake, then you walk among natural trails, finding small hills where we will find viewpoints with impressive views of the lake and the volcanoes. We will also find coffee plantations, cornfields, fruit trees. until you reach the town of Tzununa where the walk ends and you return to Panajachel.

Trekking from Santa Cruz to Tzununa is approximately 2 hours and a half, in total there are 7 kilometers.
